Of antifreeze to water do you run? Or do you just run 100% anti freeze?

80% water 20% coolant

or something around that, its not really all that necessary to run much coolant here since it never gets that cold and water it better at removing heat than coolant is. Just dont run 100% water, the water pump and engine internals need the coolants lubricating properties and anti-corrosion.

I just need to top it off a little maybe a quart would be good enough.. You think I could do this with water?

I would do 100% or 80% coolant and 20% distilled water. If you have a 4cyl it doesnt really matter, V8s dont like 100% water.

tell me how a V8 is so much different than a 4cyl in the application? 100% is a no-no, don't do that. But 70/30 or 80/20 water/coolant is optimal.

0%. 100% tap water and a bottle of Red Line Water Wetter. Keeps my 351 at a solid 190 degs

Being that you're only a quart low, just add water. Next time you're a quart low, add coolant.
