I have some old wheels that need the lips re polished and maybe fix some curb marks.

Last time I called TransWheel (2 weeks ago) they pretty much told me, "We don't do any of that work here."

So I guess they're closed. Any idea what happened? They did a fabulous jobs on my wheels about a year ago.

i googled transwheel and apparently they have 2 locations. One is the corporate office which is in Channel side and the other is called "Transwheel and Tire" which is in Lutz on 41.

The one on 41 is the one that USED to work on wheels. Call them again and see, if you like, but the guy I talked to last time was kind of snippy and rude and pretty much told me they don't do anything for people anymore and then hung up on me. Definently not the service I had come to expect a year ago, so I really dunno what happened to them.

I work at Transwheel and yes, we did close down the retail shop and are no longer doing any retail business. We are located at 858 channelside drive Tampa, FL 33602. We still fix wheels for cracks, dents, scratches, bent, also we machine, powder coat, polish, chrome (but done up north due to Osha regulations). Apologize for whoever was rude to you and being unprofessional.

Cool deal, good to know you guys are still around. You did a fantastic job on 2 of my wheels a year back.

I wish I had known y'all were still there... just took a set of wheels up to Glenn's today since I thought you were out o' business.

And no worries - I should have asked for George (he still work there?) instead of just talking to whoever picked up the phone. Usually I ask for the people who took care of me before, but this time I didn't for some reason. Oh well!

Yea george is one of my best friends, He got me the job I work with him we do the same thing.
