When you're done with a front engine clip, what is the preferred 'legal' way to dispose of it?

That's what I thought, too.
However, I was told most junkyards don't bother with stripped clips.

It's metal, take it to a metal recycling/scrap yard. That's what I did with 2 front clips, and a whole car. Just cut it up in pieces. Got to get rid of the evidence
