Don't be an idiot. You were trying to make it sound as if his car problems had something to do with him buying the car at a bh/ph dealer when they obviously don't. I dont understand people trying to return the car be cause they either cant afford it or beat the piss out of it and still thinking they should not have consequences.

IF i could not afford my car i would just sell it and pay off the rest of it.

Also could the bolt-on have something to do with the knocking or the engine blowing. Or was it the drifting and hitting the rev-limiter all the time.

he should just be lucky he didn't blow-up the differential in that car, those years are notorious for that...

All this talk of BHPH's and no one offers help for the vehicle itself?

It started knocking, not necessarily blowing up. Was anything done shortly before the knocking(i.e. something as minute as putting gas in it?). Bad gas/improper octane rating can cause knocking. More info is needed.

Glad to hear you have a functional DD. The Miata could still be saved though.
