ok. I understand that everyone on here is just giving comparisons for different cars and stuff....

What I dont understand are the couple of people who have mentioned civic vs civic si. Dont get me wrong I love civics, but this is no comparison. All of the above mentioned cars have a far better (in most cases forced induction) version of the same car. The civic si in comparison to these other cars (and their better halves) is not that much of an improvement over a regular civic.
99-00 civic si =1.6 liter 160hp
99-00 civic ex=1.6 liter 127hp

Civic SI is to Civic owners as Neon SRT4 is to Neon owners
both the Civic and the Neon are the SAME CAR as the SI is the better version of the Civic and the SRT4 is the better version of the Neon.
BUT as Civic owners the SI is the God of all Civics and dont dare call it "just another Civic" just as Neon owners worship the SRT4 as the God of all Neons.
In the end thought, they are still both shitty little "sport econoboxes"

FWD was designed because auto makers wanted a cheaper way to make a car, so Instead of having a tranny/driveshaft/rearend they made the tranny and rear end into 1.
Civics got Huge because of their cheap cost/high mpg
Neon was Chrystler's answer to the Civic as was the Cavi for GM and Countour for Ford.
all are cheap cars and built as such, Now the Civic is starting to look as a little BMW, but with a far cheaper price tag.
thats my personal look towards it and Im sticking to it. Im not telling anybody what to do in any way shape or form. The Celica is also one of these "sport econobox" but at least the have balls compared to the Civic/Integra and the Celica also came in Convertible witch the Cintegra did not. that being another reason why Im getting rid of the GTS and getting this All-Trac because as much balls as the GTS has, 160hp is still way to little power for me.
