While we're at it...
Civics are just slower Civic Si's
F-150s are slower Lightnings
and Lancers are just slower Evo's.
Sound right? Done deal.
Shit...now that I think about it a Kia Sephia has 4 wheels, seats, and an engine...so does an Ferrari Enzo....I guess that makes a Sephia a slower Enzo right. I mean they are almost the same, right?

i think the more pertinent question here is... who the fuck cares?
i honestly think that people who don't own these cars care more than the majority of the owners do. i usually just call it a neon, because that's less syllables than srt4, and i'm a lazy, lazy man. way i see it, in the grand scheme of things, it's like getting pissed off at someone for calling sandals "flip-flops"

damn skittle didnt get in on this...
looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, its a duck no matter how fast it can run the 1/4
... and i dont think anyone really cares but its still fun to argue

It might have been a good idea to read your links first..... I stand by my original assessment.

This was in the article:
The new Hemi features cross-flow aluminum cylinder heads with hemispherical combustion chambers
and this:
The engine's unique two-valve hemispherical combustion chamber within an aluminum head
and this:
Deep-skirt cast iron block with cross-bolted main bearing caps, aluminum alloy heads with hemispherical combustion chambers, 90 degree V-type, liquid cooled.
The term HEMI applies to and always applied to the combustion chamber design. So yeas it's a Hemi.
All that "not a real Hemi" stuff was started by the owners of original 426's and such.
