Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know "but this is the limited build Z06." So what. Go buy a C6 and put Z06 badging on it. It's not like 99.9% of the public is ever gonna know the difference and since the car probably would have never seen one single lap on a real track I don't see why the guy bought it anyway.

Well I mean yes its a Vette but its a 65k car that was brand fucking new and some dumbass teenager son wrecked the sum bitch, thats why this thread is double digits.

 

Well me being 18 with a car that is more powerful than what most 18 years own much less drive I'd like to think I would be able to handle the z06 but then again I would get to know the car a little bit more before I just decided to go WOT at every chance I got. I know that if my dad had one I'd for sure be driving it.

I think we should setup a meet so we can all whoop this kids ass until he can't ever drive again. Imagine how pissed you'd be if he wrecked this z06 into YOUR car......Talk about mixed feelings. I'd have to kick his ass twice. Then whoop his dads ass for raising a dumb fuck and giving him a Z06 to crash.

I was lucky enough to be in a position to buy a C6 ZO6 last month.

I would like to know what really happened, because it may have not been totally the 18 year olds fault. GM needs to seriously consider mandating some lessons to new CZ6 owners (this kid's Dad) what to do when buying these cars.

There is a rash of C6Z ending up like this right after purchase. Why, because this damn car is a hand full, even with experienced drivers and the nanny granny aids. Damn thing is too quiet and the power delivery too smooth to know when your about to be in BIG trouble. And I'm not just talking about down low.

Chuck 98 RT/10 may be able to chime in here on how many Vipers end up in body shops right after purchase. And these aren't 18 year olds buying Vipers and C6Z's.

Bottom line, the kid's father should have known better. I'd be worried sick if one of my kids got behind the wheel of one these cars.
