Seriously, if someone is on your property at your house now, doesn't matter WHAT they're packing, if you're threatened and they're uninvited and not living there then you reserve the right to dispatch them.

Edit: By that, I DON'T mean you can shoot Johnny jogging by your house or Mr. Sanders walking his dog in your yard. Also, I don't mean you can shoot someone on the street for stealing your wallet. I mean you can shoot some shady mother fucker in the middle of the night hovering around your house and your property at your house because you don't know if he's there just for your property or for you, and by the Castle Doctrine he is assumed to be there for you as well.

And thanks chet, I love you too. I like how nobody here understands what a hyperbole is.

Edit Edit: Because you pissed me off so much, I did some legwork for you.

http://writ.news.findlaw.com/sebok/20050502.html - Castle Doctrine changes with the Stand Your Ground(No Retreat) Law
"Second, the new Florida law expands the definition of "castle" to include vehicles -- such as cars and boats. This expansion the castle doctrine was clearly intended to address carjacking. "
if a guy is unarmed in your driveway stealing your car you cannot shoot him. you can only shoot them if they pose an immediate danger to your or someone elses life. the castle doctrine is for the people in your house or trying to car jack. they now made the law were you do not have to flee your own house, car, or place of buisness. that has absolutely nothing to do with protecting your property with deadly force. Its protecting your own life. But you do what you want its your ass in jail not mine.

Well, while I se the law interpreted a little differently and don't want to look up cases on it (as usual), let me clear one thing up. I wouldn't do that anyways. If my car was going to be repo'd it wouldn't be at my house, first off, and I'd go sit in it to be an asshole (and replace the 800 dollar head-unit with the factory head unit that I always keep), second off.

As an extra added bonus, if he attempts to force you out of the car, move your car with you in it, or get into your car while you're in it, then you absolutely can turn him into swiss cheese.

just found this story online. im not sure were its from but its the same here in florida..

"The shooting was ruled justifiable by the District Attorney's office. But Bill Gibbons has a warning, protecting your property with deadly force is not justifiable. Gibbons said, "Essentially a person cannot use deadly force in self defense merely to protect personal property. A person has to believe that his or her life is in jeopardy." In fact, state law spells it out: The person must have a reasonable belief that there is an imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury. "If we face a situation where someone does use deadly force simply to protect property we will be prepared to prosecute that person."

from here: http://www.wmcstations.com/global/st...Type=Printable

you are talking about something completly different vip.. maybe you should put down the crack pipe

again, you don't understand what you're talking about.

if you were to sit in your car...you would be arrested because its illegal (and i believe a felony) to interupt a repossession.

as far as shooting someone, you had better come up with a good story because you need to be threatened in order to do so. in the case of a repossession, the repo guy doesn't come onto your property with a gun pulled...or in a manner that could deemed threatening.

they are there to pick up the car and leave...and in that particular case...you would have a very difficult time proving otherwise in court...

mainly because the burden of proof would be on you...not the other way around.
