actually no, because most JDM "quality" products ive purchased ended up being no different then APC parts which never lasted. My oil catch can was a perfect example, it was leaking pressure out through my PCV system when in boost (my pcv, doesnt allow pressure to pass to the crankcase, incase anyone calls me crazy). My friends v6 tiburon was another example, however a vac leak was his problem with it, the inlets werent properly machined. Theres been other horror stories ive heard, but from what I hear JDM "quality" and APC... but then again that could be because of EBAY... anything that says, built to "JDM QUALITY" or "APC" quality i consider not good. But then again, u get what you pay for, so I learned that the hard way, i guess the JDM name earned a bad rep with me because of a few assholes who sell cheap stuff.

APC is an U.S company that market "cool" and flashy products like strobe lights, spoilers, etc. at your local auto parts store and online.
While JDM is NOT a company at all!

JDM is used to lure people saying that "its imported, which means it was made for your honda, nissan, etc, so that means its rare in the US, which means YOU MUST HAVE IT"

 

I agree with him now lol I seriouisly thought they were a company cuz i was used to buying "JDM QUALITY" which I was assuming they were a company like APC because all the JDM quality stuff trying to be a replica of JDM, kinda like GREDDY QUALITY when ppl are trying to imitate greddy.... my bad. I actually learned something today!
