I know right.
Who gives a shit about wind tunnel testing when top speeds are at 75 mph on florida highways.

I'm confident that they serve hamburgers too. Just give them $20.00 for a burger, and they will do it.

They need to do curb testing. They are already ugly enough without being smashed into a million pieces.

So all cars with front lips are ugly? You are letting your view of an actual JDM parts shop be clouded by your local ricers. The parts are different, most likely those lips, aero kits, whatever they are, are not the fiberglass bumpers you see smashed into a million pieces.

Man, there sure is a lot of hate over a picture of some wheels and body parts.

Those bumpers look like stock or pretty close to stock parts to me, and the lips seem pretty small compared to the ricey stuff I've seen. I wouldn't be surprised if they're OEM or from some expensive aftermarket company. Wheels are wheels. Everyone likes to change them. Big deal...

I don't see any canards in the photo, so I don't know what that comment was intending to prove... Oh, and real race cars do use canards. Not all of them, but some. It depends on the rules for the series the car races in. Drag racing cars probably wouldn't have much use for them, that's most likely why the "real" race cars you see don't have them. Here's one that does:
