Default california emissions?

anyone been to the wonderful state of california? im looking to buy a modded car and was wondering how the hell emissions testing works. maybe if i register the car in florida i wont have to follow california's rules? anyone know how this shit works?

Unless my life depended on it I wouldn't live in Comifornia, and then if it did I would still have to think about it. If the car is registered in your name then you have like 30 days to update your address, which would put you in shit for the sandbox your talking about. but if a member of your family owns the vehicle and they live in fl then you just need to deal with the insurance...but I couldn't say how to loophole that.

ok now i did a little research. a guy here on base is doing the sme thing. from what i understand, i need a power of attorney so someone back home can register the car and do all the paperwork. then they send me the plate basically and off i go. im still looking into it tohugh, ive talked to a few different people and they say that if the car is registered in florida, then i follow florida laws.
