ive went through the same thing man... i got ahold of a good lawyer jamie thomas he saved my ass... he got the case basically thrown out because of the racing laws... if your record is relatively clean they will cut you a break or atleast the kid that was racing me got a break bc of his previously clean record. me on the other hand paid 500 dollars for a lawyer, 300 dollars for court costs and 80 dollars for being on probation... i know its hard to relax but youll be in good shape with a lawyer

My first one i got a year of probation and 50 hrs community service. My second one the case was dismissed for false imprisonment

why would two people be speeding at the same time? cops are soo dumb sometimes.. PEOPLE SPEED!!!!! just because there is more than one person speeding doesnt mean they are racing.. I HATE COPS!!!!!!!!! UGH!!

yea npr cops suck. i was at cherry bomb, (right across from catches) pretty much all night and when iw as driving home there was so many cops out pulling people over, i even saw one with a tow truck towing a grand am away. i went 40 all the way home. i had a run in with the law and i got a lawyer and it got me all out of it but basically if you pay enough through the lawyer you can get away with nothing big. you can tell the lawyer you want to fight it saying you werent racing and if you were and you were (losing) why didnt he go after the one going faster.
