I am thinkin about investing in one of these cars but first I want to see what people think about them.... Preferably someone who actually owns one and nothing like "OH THERE CRAPPY AMERICAN CARS " I would some lagit pros and cons of the SRT4 and what you guys think about them .... LMK THanks to all who reply ....

 

Theyre relatively cheap for the horsepower offered. Theyre quick little cars. I wouldnt mind driving one.

 

Obviously, I'm a big domestic fan, so I'm not biased when I say you will get made fun of for owning one. It's a Neon.

 

Less than $30k to run 11-10's, really can't beat that, especially for a 4cylinder. Nice car, if you're gonna mod just get the supporting mods to go with them. And frank is right it is a neon so remind people of that when you walk on them.

 

id like to know how your "investing" in one, cause if you are its not gonna be the best investment.....

 

hey just cause you get walked on by neons in your station wagon doesnt mean the rest of us do, and i have yet to see any srt4's running 10-11's locally, they are few and far far between....

 

yes, its a neon. however...

stock motors have made 500+whp on stock longblocks...and they seem to be holding up pretty well. i don't mind the way they look and i'd consider buying one if i wanted to spend 20k on a new car.

in that price range however, you can find used wrx's and used evo's...which offer more potential. i think it depends on what your goals are and what you want out of the car.

 

Mine made 426WHP/511WTQ completely stock longblock with some bolt ons and a 125 shot ...

Great car for the money just dont dog the piss out of it and it will last you for years .

 

Buying a car is not an investment. It is a depreciating asset.

 

good call corey, but ya IMO just dont drive it to hell and it should be quite reliable..
