275 south towards HF. After the 54th ave exit it jumps to a very long straight away

 

i do HF its long and i haven't seen many cops and i have never seen cops out between 3 and 7 am.

Wow, all this talk of cops and getting busted. I can hit 140 in 4th and do it everytime I hit the On-ramps to I-75 in the morning. Dont make big plans, just grab the camera and a nut to hold it, and GO, it will take you a few sec to get up there and you are done. I say 75, and If you wanna be safe. do in were thre is a long guard rail dividing the other lanes from you. so if there is a cop he cant whip around and get you near as fast. just hope you can beat there radio's. whatever you do, PLZ dont do it around other cars. people sometimes panic in a situation like that and may swerve into you(Ouch, not pretty.) just be safe(as you can ) Is there really a want for a vid of this type?? I have a NICE camera and wouldnt mind doing this B4 I sell the car. I just dont like to shift into 5th under extreme boost levels. so 140-150 is all you guys get

Well yeah, but it's just talking. Fact is, I live in Sarasota so nearly all these suggestions are off for me. In this area, I think I'd head out towards Arcadia. Right after you pass the entrance to Myakka State Park the road gets wide and straight for a nice bit especially right around the county line. Go early on a weekend morning and I think I'd have the road to myself.

It's not that I'm paranoid but it would suck to get arrested. It would be embarassing at work and I'd hate to see my car at the mercy of some tow truck operator. Most of all though, I don't want to hurt anyone and I want to get it (the video part) right on the first try. I've gone fast plenty of times but it's always been a spur of the moment decision to make the dash. Something about doing it on purpose with planning in advance makes me want to do it right.
