So a few days ago i was in pasco swapping a 50 trim out of a skittle and installing a DBB 50 trim...all AGP products of course. So it got so late when it was completed that i had to come back the nexct day to test the car out and make adjustments. So i pull out onto SR54, give it a few wide open throttle pulls after checking/rechecking everything. I make a U to go back and deliver it to its owner when i see this rather stock WS6. I waited till i was past him and since i had an open stretch i did one last pull, he gave chase but was no where near. So im slowing down to make a left turn and he made sure to roll up and let me know how he felt...

"SOUNDS LIKE SHIT! and its fuckin slow..."

I just pointed at him and laughed my ass off....he got pissed and took off. The car was tuned for 410fwhp (21psi/pump) on the old turbo and will be getting tuned this weekend on the new one. Car felt decently stout while testing but will need fine tuning. Currently its running 20psi but the first few pulls i saw 25psi on pump gas while still running pig rich but to be safe i backed the boost down a lil. Stock engine, tranny, axles and a mopar clutch

Yeah, it's been said time and time again. I don't care how fast it is, at the end of the day, you're still driving a Neon.

 

Because people that drive them are whiny emo kids that start, "why doesn't anybody like me" threads on the internet hoping someone will care. Nobody does.

Its true i started one the other day, went real well for me.

 

It's still a Neon, and I would never own one, but that guy is dead wrong about it sounding like shit. It's no open-header 350, but they sound nice!

yup still a neon but i give credit where credit is due...a fast car no matter what is is...is still fast in my book. To see someone go out of their way to show their envy is another, i could see if the guy was driving a 10sec TA and said the same...i would have complemented his ride amnd been on my way...but a stock car...HA.

 

See Im the exact opposite..I dont care how good it looks if its slow its crap.
