im just getting annoyed with srt-4s here on my campus we had 4, now we have 7 i think just in housing, btw i only have 7000 kids here, but its like i see them everywhere idk

while it is a neon...for the money, its a great motor/chassis to work with.

these cars (stock motors) are seeing upwards of 500whp without too many issues.

in my opinion...thats incredible. this is the first domestic 4cyl since the late 80's to make this kinda power somewhat reliably.

at the very least dodge should be given credit for its engineering.

 

They are impressively capable. I don't like them, but I respect what they're capable of.

Its pretty sad when you have domestic guys bashing on another domestic car..
Technically its not a Neon, if you search on autotrader its an SRT4

400hp on a little 4 cyl. is very respectable in my book, even its coming from a "Neon".

 

u must be new to this country or just born..we bash other domestics all the time.u never heard a chevy guy go off about a ford or a ford guy go off about a chevy.we just figured now dodge has something decent agian so now where showing the love to them.

 

True story. If I were driving Dodge muscle, I'd be all about the Neon. If this were the same story, but with a Cobalt SS, I'd probably be less harsh. I4 engines are still vaginal though.

 

Neon and Muscle dont go together in the same sentence.
