need advice
alright everyone. i thought about putting this in general car chat but it seems like something more for pit road.
my car is at the point where i just hate it. its transmission is slipping. the back brakes suck. and i my blinkers dont work every once and a while. its time for a new car. these are my choices so far, and if you have some better ideas, then tell me.
im looking at cars that i can drive in and out of boston in when i move back up to massachusetts. and im getting a loan so it needs to be 98 or newer. please dont tell me to get an old 240 or civic.
these are my choices so far:
-98+ honda civic (model doesnt matter too much, but id like an EX)
-99+ ford mustang v6 (cant have the gas mileage of the v8 )
-98+ acura integra (same with the model thing, but id like an ls or gsr)
-00+ VW jetta gls
-00+ nissan sentra
-98+ infiniti g20
-98-99 subaru outback (either impreza or legacy)
the car is pretty much for commute but im gonna end up having some fun with it and eventually start putting some money into the performance. i know its a wide variety of cars, but im not too picky. i need some ups and downs. as i said before, if you have a better idea for a car. please tell me. and please no flaming. im not gonna rice out any of these cars so lay off any dumb jokes. i need real advice. ask any questions you need to.

For up north? id suggest the vw with the 4motion or whatver vw's fancy way of saying 4wd. cause you soon gonna be slippin in the winter my friend. but yeah sunfires tend to yeild a lot of crappy stupid "why do i even care anymore" problems. I recently got outta mine into a nice ej2 and havnt been more happy.

the VW doesnt have awd. but its still nice as hell. the infiniti is just fucking clean and its all luxury (touring package). and the only subaru's i could find had really high mileage for the price range im in. all around 150,000 miles.
hmm. just my opinions on the cars
-98+ honda civic Unless you get an Si, no..
-99+ ford mustang v6 EEK, not a V6! but rwd is fun
-98+ acura integra A 98+ GSR is a nice car
-00+ VW jetta gls Is this the vr6? if so, these are nice
-98+ infiniti g20 nah
-98-99 subaru outback AWD could be pretty practical for up north
good luck
