See everybody seems to think they are ok.
Volvo is coming around trying to re gain the youth of America. Since they already have the 35+ Age group. Anyway the cars might be boring to some people but people overlook the performance you actually get out of the box.
The safest cars on the road Unique 5 cylinder turbocharged engine.
My 1998 S70 runs 13.9 in a quarter. $700 in Mods.
2.4L Inline 5 + Turbo
You cant even put the traction down to the ground on the street.
3300 Lbs 4 door car, with spare, full leather power seats and everyting.
I might even pull the cooler out of the back after the run and get a cold drink out.
If you are going to do it (Whatever IT is) might as well do it SAFE do it in a VOLVO.

I'd love to have that S60R.
Now why can't Ford take some of the ideas from Volvo and put it into their cars to pull their asses out of the hole they've dug themselves?

damn that S40 and XC90 are crazy!! The S60r is cool but the other two are sick, sign me up!

Ford does use Volvo stuff. Specially safety systems. Newer Fords, Mercurys, Mazdas are based on some of Volvo's Chasis. Electronics and technology form Volvo is crosing over to Ford. Lets just keep Volvo crosing over to ford. Dont need Ford crosing over to Volvo.
