Are you an accident reconstructionist? Can you, without one single doubt, single this vehicle out as the at-fault vehicle? If not, good luck proving this particular car struck your vehicle.

Without the other driver stating he hit your car, without a police report verifying the date of the incident and/or the other vehicle involved, and without witnesses identifying this vehicle as the one who struck your car...you are pretty much out of luck unless you have an expert review the damages on each vehicle (even then, no guarantee they can specifically point this car as being THE vehicle who struck yours). Just hope that you may have the right person, and if so, that this person does the "right thing" by fessing up. Otherwise there is little you can do.

well im gonna prove to them that it was them who hit me, then give them an ultimatum. i just need to know the penalties for a hit and run w/o a person in the car, and no injuries what so ever.
