Its funny how it works. The government increases it's workforce then complains that it needs more funding. So the people get hit twice. We end up paying for the increased workforce through taxes, and at the same time the workforce hired for traffic citations, are constantly writting tickets for more revenue. $$$$
Cops = Revenue generators for the government.
Government keeps speedlimits lower, so inturn more people are breaking the speedlimit. wahlah - more revenue
Lets ticket the guys who are going a few miles over the speed limit instead of paying attention to the drivers who pay NO attention while driving. Lets not pass laws prohibiting the drivers who constantly block traffic with their rolling road blocks. Lets not actually do something to correct the traffic problems caused by drivers who never pay any attention to their own driving, much less, actually pay any attention to their surroundings and traffic around them.
