Remember when Toyota announced they would enter the Craftsman Truck Series in 2004, and all Jimmy Spencer could say was "they bombed Pearl Harbor, don't forget"?

Toyota entering the cup is not top news. If they ever dominate the season with a Japanese driver, THAT will be news. Wake me when my Toyota Camry with Earnhardt Jr. NASCAR effects package arrives at the dealer.

He's right I thought to be able to put a car into Stock car racing you had to have 500 or more productions units to even be eligible? When the fuck did they come out with a V8 car? This is bullshit, how is that Toyota gets to design a "race V8 engine" , but chrysler can't use the factory produced Hemi? I say screw it if NASCAR is gonna allow Toyota then all prior rules should go out the window, let Dodge use the Hemi, let GM use the Z06 motor, let Ford do what they can to catch up.

The Hemi and LS7 both suck when compared to the circle track motors they use now, that's why. They have a reliable 650 HP that'll run at 9000 RPM all day. I'm pretty sure any street motor given that abuse would pop within an hour.

Toyota can still bite me though. At least Ford, Chevy, and Dodge, have or have made a pushrod, OHV, carbureted car at one point. I can't recall any bad ass, muscled up Toyotas making the muscle car charts.

Toyota racing the Camry is absolutely positively no different than ford racing a taurus once you get past the fact the Toyota is a Japanese brand. I knew this day would come when they entered the truck series, not surprised at all.

I do think you are on to something though. In the spirit of the original NASCAR, not the WWF style BS they have now, Dodge should be running a fuel injected hemi, Chevy should be running a fuel injected LSx, and Ford should be running a marauder style mod motor. They should all be in a car based on a RWD platform that you can buy at the dealer with the same family of motor. The body lines should match or be within a tolerance of the lines of what you can buy at the dealer as well, none of this one size fits all, put decals that look like your brand's headlights on it shit. But that's in an alternate reality. The sad reality is Toyota isn't going to do any more damage to NASCAR than it has already done to itself....... At least the trucks still kinda look like trucks.

More horsepower than that

If they applied the technology they have in NASCAR to an LSx type motor, a Hemi motor, and a Ford mod motor I think you'd be surprised what they would come up with......

They should make those fags race with thatever that car is labeled as. Talk about a LOOOOOOOONG 500 laps with a Tauraus, Monte Carlo, whatever Dodge uses, and a Camry on the track? Oh man, that would be sweet! Let's not forget how well all of those cars handle corners. At least nobody would have to stop and fuel up, since they all get superior gas mileage.

Too bad the word, "Stock," is the S in NASCAR, otherwise you know the Camry would have alteezas, a big ass fart can, and a bad tune. It'd win based on the fact that it'd spy hunter smoke screen out the cars behind it with rich exhaust.

All the production cars they are running come with 6 cylinders they just put the bigger motor in just like camry is going to do becuase their v8 motors and cars have been in production long enough.

I was unaware they had production cars running in NASCAR anymore. Like BBB said, I thought they were just all the same car with different paint jobs. You also suck at English.
