I happen to like my neon...even though its not quite an SRT-4, its close enough...without the tranny trouble, and lighter..and cheaper...and a coupe...but far older, in all honesty though for a new car I would rather have a lancer evo...the stripped down model w/ no a/c or radio and a 3rd LSD they were selling for $25k, seems like the extra power and traction is worth the extra 5 grand

Either way, it's A LOT of goddam money to run 11's. Nothing to brag about IMO.

good point, you could probably running 9's on an old 80's camaro if you knew what you were doing. I don't know though. For 31k, I would buy a 1998+ Camaro SS, an use whatever's left over to build an absolutely sick car.

No extra power over the regular model. Also, all U.S. cars have A/C, and on the track the big gay wing makes the car handle much better...it was behind the Straight8 plenty of seconds because it had too much oversteer without the wing.

Still definetly a better buy though

As far as the Evo X sharing platforms, I know they wouldnt. Mitsubishi is putting all 100% of what they've got into their Evo X...why do their other cars blow ass? They ignore them and work exclusively on their flagship top seller. No other company is going to be able to touch that chassis, and they sure as hell wouldnt let Chrysler use it
