Default Question about a warning from a cop

cop pulled me over on 10/27 because of my muffler(had a big ass N1 at the time),he gave me a warning,i never sent the warning paper back to the deputy(I didnt know i had to,never got a warning before)so my question is...am i fucked?what's gonna happen?

a warning is just a warning. I dont think any action is required. To get the honest, legal, and true answer, call you Clerk of Circuit Court (where you pay tickets) and ask them.

Maybe one of the LEO's on here can be more clear but there is probably a warrant out for your arrest

It's like a reciept that you can show another cop if you get pulled over again before you fix it. Not that the next cop won't write you a ticket anyways. And to keep you honest. It's almost like a "I promise to fix my car by such a time or the next cop can sock it to me".

it's a written warning,i dont have the muffler anymore,an arrest warrant?isnt that a little much?

CALL THE CLERK'S OFFICE! Do you really want to risk going to jail or owing hundreds because of what some people said on a message board. Sorry to tell you, that WILL NOT HOLD UP IN COURT.

No doubt. I did a weekend in county over some lame ass speeding warning.

My mom got a warning a few months ago, but it was verbal... She didn't have to do anything
