My B18C head was hand ported and polished in Japan; as was every B18C made in Japan. I would like to see an american car take the time out to get so "tedeious". Working in the parts department at Nissan I can say that 90% of the things we get in say "Made in Japan". Radio's, seats, and very few other things will say Mexico or somewhere else. BUT keep in mind 99.9% of the things we get in that are made in a diffrent country are NOT made by OEM Nissan I.E Bose, Clarion etc.

Yes and no.
NSX-R - Great suspension, deacent power, very sleek and aero. First car to have an all aluminum uni-body design. <- thats big
Skyline GTR - Good power, Good suspension

You also have to factor in Japans HP limit. Not being able to manufacture a car over 280hp limits them dramatically. Im sure if there was no law they would be all over it, making high HP cars with excellent suspension to boot.

And most people in Japan who even have cars dont drive them because they walk more then they drive. Thats why most people in Japan dont even have car's in the first place.

it was called "the gentlemen's agreement" and was limited to 276hp

speaking from observation, i really take issue with this. i look at my friends' cavaliers, escorts, rangers... as a general rule, the interiors look and feel cheap. after a year they start to squeak and rattle all to hell. then i look at my friends' civics, camries, proteges - hell, even my elantra. the difference is noticeable.

here's another example. i'm a mustang fanatic and i can't even begin to describe how excited i was about the '05 redesign. i had my mind made up the moment i saw the first new mustang concept that it was going to be my next car. that is, until i went to test drive a new gt. i took one look inside and was so let down. it looked and felt so cheap. i didn't want to believe that the new stangs would be just another ford. but they are. fact of life.

 I'm not reading all the responses, nor am I going to play. Cars are all pieces of shit, cars all break. I have a lifetime of loving/following cars and 5 years in the business to back what I say. Everybody can argue until they are blue in the face why theirs is better, then it will break...................

i had alot of cars. i must say nothing can take the abuse more than a toyota. take a 86 gts i had for instance. 345k miles on the clock without a rebuilt engine. i beat the living shit out of that thing. still held up. the same cannot be said for a 240 in my opinion. i just dont get the feel that i can constantly redline the ka, or an sr for that matter. im an import guy, but when i comes to the sound of a car, nothing does it like the sound of a big ass blown v8. one thing makes me look down on domestics though, nascar.

Not to sound like an ass but.
How can you even compare an SR or KA to a 4AG in terms of revving. O.o

its not really the high revving, its just being able to have the throttle open for long periods of time. i just dont feel safe clutch kicking a ka endlessly. the 4ag will take it all day.
