wrong, we never had a problem until dumbass in imports started to show up. period. if you believe anything else you werent their.

 

I feel your pain. Maybe if I had joined TR when my Nissan truck was my only vehicle or when I owned one of many Hondas or when I owned a Mitsubishi I would have been cool but now I'll always just be a redneck mullet..........

 

Now this I will take issue with. When the import scene first started around here, things were "civil" At first the 5.slow comments and rustang comments were kinda fun. Some of the imports were actually fast and it made for some cool racing and a new energy, a little rivalry if you will... Then it got retarded, and I mean OVERNIGHT. Not only was there racing going on at this place, or at that place, but it was a race between places. You had your core group of people that would go to the races, drive like responsible people between spots, then an hour later you heard a swarm of bees in the distance and the crowd of "wannabe's" would come flying off the bridge, down shifting, making all kinds of racket, some yanking their e-brakes because it made them "cool". They would pull in, park, leave their stereos blasting, leave their neon on, leave their strobes going, and 5 minutes later the cops would show up if they hadn't already followed the fucking idiots in. This was before the movie. Do I blame imports in the sense of this is some major conspiracy by the Japanese? Of course not. But imports sure were the vehicle of choice of the fucktards that ruined everything..... Why do you think street racing laws have gotten so much worse? I don't remember ever racing through traffic, ever racing from spot to spot, ever racing at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on a major road, but now that is the norm.... When we would go somewhere to race, cops would sometimes drive by and not even see us, no lights, no stereos, just some cars parked in the shadows and some people hanging out, talking, and setting up races. Hmmmm, what changed???? Your dad can tell you.........
