i detail cars for a living and at our shop we have a few types of waxes that you can use with a buffer and it gets the minor scratches out. you have to 2 step or 3 step wax it with 2 differant buffing pads. auto magic makes quite a few good waxes. and to the clay bar it doesnt take scratches out it removes fall out from the cars paint

I use a Porter Cable 7424.

Zaino Z5, then Z2 (both with ZFX added)

I apply both with a white buffing pad.

This place has everything and can help you pick out what you are looking for if you want to get serious. They are also a local shop.

Where can I pick up some ardex, and what does it normally cost to have a car buffed?

to have a car fully detailed at mercedes...you get the carpet shampood (sp?) engine bay detailed, wax, buff, clay, everything...they charge anywhere from 150-200 depending on the condition of the car...im not sure if ardex is available to the public...but if you wanted your car done i can do it at my job on the side...

ardex supplies are very expensive but work great...

PM me what you would charge to get rid of some of these swirls and pretty much buff/wax the car, thanks.
