Angry my hatch owned by pothole!!! what can i do?

ok i live in springhill like 45min north of tampa and i was on my way home from work and i was making a right turn going 5-10 mph and my left front tire went into this pot hole and continued to stay there and the rest of my car kept going... so im sitting in this busy intersection at 5:30 pm immobile the car wont budge i try and open my door and it will open about 1 inch thats it, i climb out the passenger door and look at what happened. It looks like my wheel stayed there and ripped out the ball joints and axle... the police officers show up call a tow truck ect and it looks like i need to replace the drivers side door, fender ,side skirt, lower control arm (b/c it was grinding on the road), upper and lower ball joints, im going to need to get a allignment a new axle and a drivers side tie rod a new strut and im out $90 for the tow truck... so has anyone else had something like this happen to them?? with what results and time table? did the county pay??
im really irritated right now so any one that wants to just bullshit please refrain yourself from this post... anyone with helpful advice i WOULD BE VERY THANKFUL...

thanks Dave

Makes you want to drive a big ass lifted truck, now doesnt it?
Sorry about it though, I really hope you two get reimbursed for it, I would be pissed too if that was me. Good Luck guys.

Yeah, they will pay for a ton more then they need, cause they don't wanna be responsible and have you sue them...

Beat me to it. That's soooooo right. They want you to be happy and go away. Hope it all gets fixed soon. There's a spot in the road in front of my neighborhood and it gets worse every time they "fix" it.
