i did not think that was top fuel running with that time i was thinking that it was a Top Alcohol dragster or something along those lines.

It was definetly nitro-methane, smelt a little on the weak side though, that could explain the 5.5

i was sitting directly behind it when it launched, he used up the entire lane.

I was leaning on my car waiting in the staging lanes when he ran. I was disappointed that I didn't get to see the full run- I only saw the thing when it went between the buildings and when it came back into view for the last half of the track. It was loud as hell all the way back in the staging lanes. What I saw was pretty cool. I'm thinking about heading out to a sanctioned event to see some run.

It was a Top Fuel car and Tom clicked it off at the 1/8th mile mark. He ran a 5.5 @240. His 1/8th mile time (that does not show on the board at the track) was 3.45 @ 208.
