I heard them saying something about the track insurance not allowing them to break 250mph. That might also help explain the run being a little on the slower side.

 

I am a dragster n00b. It wasn't just loud, I felt it in my whole body. I think there were whitecaps on my inner ear fluid.

we got there a lil late and missed it it sound's like he was just testing and mostly made an 1/8 mile pass. if he was in it really hard on the other end, it would've been lots faster than 240! those cars are really cool to watch though there's alot of fun pro mod events in this state and the south east. those are door slammers and they run high 3's and low 4's 1/8 mile. very fun to watch too! my avitar is a pic of our last year's pro mod motor. 632 ci chevy. we have a 737 ci in it now

 

I thought for awhile that it wasn't gonna run after they pulled it up and couldn't get it to start, but I was glad it actually got down the track for a run. I think they said he had done a 2.98 1/8 @208 or something previously. And yeah, that thing just shook my whole body, it was a good thing I covered my ears lol. Me = TF Dragster newbie too, so it was cool.

 

it ran in the beggining when they were doing test n tune also. definitly pretty quick.
