Ive always been afraid of getting an exhaust ticket, my Z is retardedly loud.

 

Yeah, its not just the sound, the cops think to themselves the same thing everyone thinks to themselves when they see one of those cars. "Jesus Christ what a fucking moron, why would he do that to his car?", only they have the ability to fuck with you for it, and they LOVE it

 

when i got stopped he just said that he wouldn't usually pull people over who's exhaust was like mine but because of people complaining about the cars that sound like weed whackers he has to stop more people with modded exhaust. i mean my car was really loud but not that annoying sound it was just a ported 13b through a 4" exhaust.

 

ROFL mine was 4". Now its down to 2" but im going to be running duels soon as i get it back from getting transmission work.

2" + 2" = 4" right

 

Does anyone else find it odd that both of the people getting exhaust tickets drive rotaries? thank mazda for making the rotary so god damn load...

 

Well my car came stock with 2 or 3 cats on it,once you take that off,and even run a stock exhast.Its still louder..

Yeah I think the car must of been "conspicuous" lookin,it has limo tint,lowered,primered wheels.. and the car number on the side window from sunshine.. he probally didnt think I belonged in the area..

Plus when you type my tag number in.. it goes to a PO box.. When I told him where I lived,its like 5 mins down the road,his attitude changed alot..

Ok now heres a question I got.. He gave me a "warning" on that warning,it says to contact the cop so they can inspect the vehicle.. he says dont worry about it,Im going to play it safe,and give him a call mid week.. has any one failed to contact them,and issued a ticket?

 

lol i had a race ported motor a full 4" turbo back and i got away with it and they even did the db test for me .i think it depends on the cop and how many ricers hes ran into also your driving .

 

i wouldnt call the cop if that guy told you not to.

 

Bottom line is I dint trust cops.He says dont worry about it,and everything was good,he talked to me nice etc etc,but the paper says to have it inspected.

I just dont want to let it pass,then 3 months later get pulled over for a "suspended liecense.Then risk going to jail.
