What would you guys use for removing surface rust off of tools? I got a complete craftsman set from someone that was sitting outside for a bit in the rain and it got a little rusty. I dont feel like using a wheel to remove the rust.... is there some kind of acid I can throw all the sockets and wrenches into to clean the surface rust off? Thanks!
depends on how bad it is...ive been able to use WD-40 or some blaster and wipe it off. But is starting to eat in a little bit i dont knwo what to tell ya.

give me a good way to break all of these sockets?

what is that acid they use on pools.... I remember using it way back in the day on some boat parts that had rust on them and it ate all of it away... wonder if it will be fine on these tools and not ruin the finish
