Default Aluminum Interior?

I planning out how to rebuild my truck, and it needs a new paint job. Since the sheetmetal inside the cab is also painted, I figured I'd take everything out and put new stuff back in. I was thinking about making a new dash all out of aluminum and powdercoating it to match the outside, but don't have all the equipment of skill to do it. How much would something like a custom dash, complete with A/C vents and speaker/guage mounts cost and where could I get it done? I know they make that shrinkwrap stuff, but is fiberglass a possible option? Input please!

Thanks man. Do you know the name of the place? I was originally thinking diamond plate, but didn't like the thought of alot of glare, so I figured I could paint aluminum. Now that I think about it, painting diamond plate would look kinda cool though.

you can take a mold of the stock dash with fiberglass and it will have A/C vents and speaker/guage mounts

Huh? Do you want me to track you down or something, what do you mean? I checked and it said in my profile that e-mail is enabled. PM's are disabled, but that's beacause I didn't do that stuff. You can send me an e-mail to my other account with any info you're willing to divulge: Regit230@yahoo.com

Thanks for the input guys, I'm now considering a fiberglass made one, but haven't given up on a metal one. Here's my response to your posts:

Do you do fiberglass work? Do you know someone who does? Does anybody know someone who does good fiberglass work?

Yes, but it's still metal, so it'll hold some heat. That's why I'm thinking fiberglass. Besides those custom sub enclousures look pretty sweet, and that would make a cool looking dash.

As for making one out of aluminum, "Senor Honda" do you do what I'm talking about? You said you did, but never responded. I hope you not just talking to be heard. This is something I've been considering for a while and really plan on doing.

Yeah, I saw that once too, in the Super Wal Mart parking lot. Don't remember it too well. I think it was pretty poorly constructed. Might be a different car, that was like two years ago.
