600-700 hp is really the max i would say for any type.after that i think gas just cost to much

I'd think 420-450whp is the most that is actually useable.

id say 400ish, anything past that is of no use. just like exotics that you see with 500+HP but they never get out of 2nd or 3rd gear on the streets (interstates not included)

what are you going for? is this a straight out 1/4 mile car.

To me, anything over 250 hp in an FF car is overkill ...too much understeer.

Anything in particular,its been discussed 10000 times in person,but never on the board(that ive seen)

People always say "x" amount of hp is just to much for the street in a FWD car

Well I mean, for the street, I think 300 hp should be okay, as long as you watch out on the throttle for torque steer and such.

But if you plan on turning, you might not wish to go so high. You'd get a lot of understeer. There are ways to minimize it and help dial it out, but it will still be there.
