i recently bought a crx from a TR user, erikgrim. the transaction was smooth, the description of the car on the title matched the year and make but no model was listed. everything was okay untill i checked the vin numbers and found to my surprise that they didn't match, the vin on the title was for an accord. so i called him back and asked about it. he said his dad drove an accord and it was probably his title, he would look around and call me when he found the right one. since then, i have called him and left him messages a number of times, no messege replys, no phonecalls. that leads me to believe, that the crx had no title and he knew it, so he got a title that sort of matched to sell it. now all i want is the right title or my money back, if you have any advice, lmk

 

This has worked for me in the past.
Go to the DMV with the VIN numbers.Just tell them you are looking into a car you want to buy etc etc,Tell them you want to know if it had a clean title,cause the guy could not produce one,so You didnt want to buy it yet.

It worked for me on a RX7,I had to track down the second owner,and have him get me a bill of sale etc etc.

If the title is not in his name,I would be knocking on his door with the police.
But in reality,your the one who screwed up.It looks like you can be assed out and your lost at 100%.
Also we have a TR user,seller rating.. use it

 

Always compare VIN numbers....ALWAYS. A title is nothing unless you do so. Also....if all else fails...you own an accord now, right? time to go claim it.'

Sry to bring this thread back up - but that ERIKGRIM kid is a faggot, who almost got beat down by myself, TTT for a bad seller - sold me bulshit parts, and wanted some back cause they were his DADDYS. *Remember ERIK the taller you are the harder youll fall, I have a buddy lookin for ya in Spring Hill who wants to pay you a visit, he just got back from Baltimore. And I know you will read this.

BTW- He beat on that rex everytime I saw him in that car, only reason we never scraped waz cause he said I would "Regret" not givin back his DADDYS Parts- I waited for him to make first move, then decided to pay him vists at his work---he waz never there.
