What’s harder to launch ?
Ok so I always here AWD people bitching about launching there cars and how hard it is…. To me I would think its easier to launch a 400 awhp car compared to a 400 fwd hp car just for the fact of all of the spinning of the FWD car

The only reason its hard to launch an AWD car is because all the AWD cars have sissy driveline components that can't take abuse. If they could, launching a car would be as easy as putting a brick on the gas and dumping the clutch. Since AWD's are fragile, its a fine line between launching hard and breaking shit, and bogging.

also depends on your pressure plate. strong, sticky pressure plates/clutches on high HP FWDs doesn't work well in my experience. It is better for FWD cars to have pressure plates that can stand the abuse, but that can also slip fairly easily.

id say whatever car you dont have is the hardest to launch. for a person used to AWD, a FWD car would be a nightmare, and vice versa.
