So i am coming down erlich towards sickles and the school zone is right there b4 you hit sickles...There is a truck full-o-shit in front of me and a car on my right. I downshift and go in between the truck(using turnsignal) and the car to the right, no problem, didn't go over 40mph. I turn into my bank (on right) and a silver F150 is behind me on my ass, the same one i passed to get to the right hand lane to turn into my bank. I park and he is at my window with his badge screeming about how im going to jail. Turns out he is a off-duty cop that didn't like my move...BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT.... gives me a citation for Wreckless Driving......He tells me it is a mesdemeanor and I'm going to get 9 points on my license... He says to be at "this place in 10 days" for my trial or whatever...I am pissed....but i just say whatever and I setup a meeting with Ty Trayner tomorrow....
My question is, how likely is it that the whole thing will be DROPPED and no points get put on my lic.? and BTW: this is my First ticket ever, i'm a safe driver with my insurance and i've NEVER been in a wreck.

Some reason that guy sounds familiar. When I got in my accident a offduty cop in a pickup was all yelling at me and shit telling me to stay there, that he had my tag and is calling the sheffif and blah blah. real dickhead
im sure Ty will find a way to get you off this being its an offduty cop and all could make his job even easier

a cop is a cop 24/7 and can act as such at any time, that being said, find out how to report him to internal affairs and or complain to his commanding officer. Every captain, lietenant, or chief I have ever met would be embarassed to have one of his officers ticket someone while off duty. Would probably get dropped just by talking to his commander, but should be dropped if you have to go to court.

I know of a fhp trooper that was given a day without pay for writing a speeding ticket to an on duty in a marked car, sherrifs deputy, this kind of thing is bad PR for the department.
