I appreiciate your ideas, but what happens to that car after . I think Ford tech is going to sell theirs after they make some passes and do something to split up the money. I can't think of anyone who would want to donate their car then to have to sell it, or anyone who would donate soooo much time and money into someone elses car just for this.
I'm not trying to be difficult I promise, lol, I just can't see it being practical to try to do this w/ a Classic . Like you said they're not cheap.

Some attitudes are a certain way for a reason. And if things that made that attitude that way changed, maybe the attitude would also? This site has not been about racing for a long time and we all know how I feel about it. Nothing has really been done for this site(that I have seen) to really help this side other then to split it up and get the people who werent here for cars out of the way but now it just seems like TR is being left as a sitting duck since it already has a member base. Hell I'm going to even enter the next couple TRack events to help out with TR(even though that money will probably go towards more TF stuff) to help out with a site that has helped me throughout the year.

Someone has to take the first step and I don't think it should be the members to do it. Sorry for letting it out in such an way. Sometimes a squeeky wheel gets attention and tended to, in my case though it will probably be ignored or just taken off.

in stead of just a straight line you should make it like an all around show down. Include like an auto X, drag, and like a brake test or something to that nature, i think that would make it more interesting.
