Boost by gear isnt going to be enough for a car with that much power. I have seen it time and time again with Honda's. In SFWD you have Cortney running consistant 9.9X - 10.0X @ 144 - 146. And in T4 SFWD you have Jason running consistant 9.5X - 9.8X @ 148 - 154. They wont give out publicly what they are doing for traction. I dont blame them. The SRT-4 crowd just needs a couple more years or so to really start impressing the rest of the sport compact crowd at the track.

 

traction solutions are poppingup on a quartely basis but yea more time is needed. There are several low 11 sec skittles trapping 127-132 around the country some on totally stock suspension.

 

They will put it into the 10s, no worries.

They upped the boost .5lbs lol and made 586whp.

 

i think AMS IS ONE of the best shops . we know the srt-4 make good power now someone needs to adress traction .

 

they actually handle ok for stock...ONLY because of the power on tap. With minor suspension mods....mopar springs, tension struts and bigger oem sway bars (26mm PT turbo front= 26mm and Neon ACR = 19mm rear) the cars can be transformed into a different animal.

 

impressive. if they solve traction issues, i might seriously look into one.

How do you people know that the "traction issues" have not already been adressed? Has anyone here seen this car run at the track? Or are you people making ASSumptions that AMS is gonna build a dyno queen, just like everyother car they touch
