I would just suggest taking it to a shop and getting it scanned to see what code is throwing the CEL light. definitally would be a good buy in my eyes.

I know its easy, but when you work on cars all day, you really dont wany anything to do with your own cars at times, im gonna go be checking it out in 20, and probably test drive it.
Mazda, Isuzu, Nissan, Toyota...
They will all run forever (I'm not talking about the new shit). Back in the day, those thing were [and still are] indistructable, to quote from a previous post, they ARE harder to kill than cockroaches.
Definatlly a wise investment. My friend had an old '91 and put at least a half-mill on it before the oddometer stopped rolling over. He sold it to some kid for a lawn service and as far as I know, it's still running. Buy that truck now if it's what you want, it's DEFINATLY dependable.
Jesus, now I want one,... oh shit,... I already do.

A kid I know has one with about the same cretiera as that one. He just recently replaced the oem clutch for the first time in 120k miles. The a/c blow so cold it will freeze you out.
