My guess would be he made it up. She was on her lunch break and was only gone from here for 30 minutes tops. I can't see them doing too much of an inspection unless they were ready and waiting for her and I seriously doubt that was the case.

 

i usually just tell everyone that everything looks fine.
i couldnt give a shit whats broken. and what isnt. and when theres problems later, ill get their money then.

people are idiots, and it seems like 85% of mechanics are too.

 

also, maybe she didnt tell them that it was a car she was looking at to buy.
i would reccomend shit like alignment, tranny flush and brake flush with a car still in the parking lot, as maintenence, and tell the customer exactly that.
and im sure you would have fixed the hood latch if she asked for it.

 

What a suprise a 8 year old car is not in brand new condition. Hod latch and dipstick are easy fixes and the rest is normal stuff.
