i need suggestions for my first car im looking around the $5-8k imports only. Coupes or hatches only but when i hay hatchback i mean like a clipse or teg style not like a civic hatch. The only other thing is that it must be a 5/6spd. Il letyou take it from here...

 

depends on what you want, are you gonna want fwd rwd, something reliable, easy to swap, easy to mod, good gas mileage, find out what things are most important (i realize these are not all) it really narrows your search

 

good idea for me to tell you that also i guess... id like something easy to mod however steering away from civics i have nothing against them except that there everywhereand i dont really want one.the gas milage isnt really a big deal mostly because i dont want anything except for a 4cyl rite now, the choice between fwd and rwd dosent really matter to me rite now, and ofcourse i want something reliable

 

if you where to get an import..stay'n away from the civic's. i 'd recommend the integra jus becuase if you play with the gst n dont follow the manual and not build it rite..you will have problems, it happend to everyone of my buddies gst's. i have a buddy of mine sell'n a teggy turbo right now in badass condition and is quick...i kno it a lil more then ur price range but well worth the money. there's a lot done but can have more done looks and motor wise.

why not pick up a nissan? or like a older rx7.

 

these are all vehicles that ive thought of and considered. I was looking for this thread to tell me, either a mass agreement on 1 vehicle ;or have a couple of people to really convince me on 1.

 

i know u said import..but pick up a fox body mustang..these are probably the easiest cars to make quick..(unless ur worried about gas mileage) then i would get a DA integra..

 

i had a 91 rx7 for my first car, just wasnt practical, it needed so much money and me being 16 at the time making minimum wage didnt not work out well. But a nissan would be great,more reliable and cheaper parts.

 

cuz you cant pick up whores in a foxbody like you can in a import

 

get an orange lt1, those are fast AND sexy
