I'd say a '93+ Miata is a good way to go if you don't mind the "Gay-ness" stigma they undeservedly recieve. With some mods, a roll bar, nice wheels and tires, lowering, etc, it looks great and is bullet proof

Rwd is soooo much more fun to drive than FF. No one likes understeer. What can you make out of understeer? Crashing? With a car that can oversteer, you can actually have some fun. I wouldn't mind a FF for a daily driver though. Like said above, miata is a really nice choice.

Last thing we need is another person with no mechanical or performance experience buying a dsm and asking questions like "how do i make my car do that loud pshh sound" and then talking about why their cheap ebay parts dont work and the cars CEL light is on.
Unless you have alot of time, a 2nd car for a daily driver and know a decent amount about awd/efi/turbo cars I would stay away from anything awd.
