tire/rim questions
I found some 13x7 Im hoping to pick them up next weekend..
i got a few questions about them though..
The rims were drilled for screws to hold down the tire.
1)Im not going to do that,so will the rim bead still hold right?
2)What size tires should I ron on a 13x7,I dont want the lowest profile tire, but I still want a nice meaty sidewall..
and its for one of my first gens.

I've got wheel screws in my welds with no screws, you'll be fine in that reguard... not sure on tire size, but visit www.tirerack.com and search for tire sizes.

Im still having a hard time finding some wide 13s,This site wants to go by the manufactures recommended size,or optional tire size..
7" is roughly 175mm so i am suspecting a 175-205 width will work for you possibly. not sure what aspect ratio you would need. or if maybe you could get away with a metric tire. i have 175/55/13's on my sentra though. not positive on the width but think the rim is 13x6

well I think 205 would be good, but what profile?I dont want rubber bands,Something with a little meat.
I got 205/60/13 on the back of my stock wheels,But I wanted something a little lower..

I think that would look to small,But I know they make 50 series, but not sure width wide.. do you know, and what brand to recommend? I want something sticky
Theres also 55. As for brand and whatnots, I have no clue for those sizes. Most tire shops will be able to tell you which brand tires come in that size, regardless of whether they carry them or not.
