no I dont really,I called this distribitor today and all the guy wanted to do was to sell dam OEM sized tires..

I kinda figure I want to run 205/50/13 in the front.. and 215/50/13 in the back

If you know how to calculate tire size for rim width etc etc, let me know plz

well the 1st number (say 205) is the width of the tire from the center of the sidewall, not its contact patch

the 2nd number is the aspect ratio...the percentage of the width. 205/50 would mean a 102.5 mm sidewall hieght ----(sidewall height x 2) + rim size = actual tire height (roughly 25mm to 1 inch)

Im actually first tring to find a width to fit a 7in rim.
Then figure out how low/tall I want the tire cause the car is lowered..

I searched for 205/50/13 and dont think they make any..
So I searched for 215/50/13 and the cheapest I seen that was decent was $130ish I think on tirerack..

Maybe post of some places to get tires cheap online, and what brands to look for I want a soft compund tires..
Theres a few things I dont understand is shaved,I guerss it goes to the softer spot on the tires for more grip?
