I use Nitrile gloves all the time. I buy them from Harbor Freight in boxes of 100.

I hate wearing gloves, but I hate washing my hands for hours even more. Those cheap gojo gloves are great, especially for $4. I use them for wheels, hot parts, etc without much oil. I'll just use some cheap plastic gloves for things with oil/fluids. Can't beat 100+ gloves for $1.

I have mechanix gloves and have been using them for a year or two. I use them at work when we are moving cores (torque converters), so I dont cut and tear my hands apart. Keep in mind that I still have to look presentable at night when i'm carrying plates. The only problem is that the gloves really blow for small bolts etc, and getting grip in tight spots.
