All day using pneumatic tools, some mechanix gloves are needed to keep my knuckles from vibrating off. But other than that, I dont use them.

I have a pair of Mechanix gloves but I usually forget to put them on. I won't wear them for really greasy stuff because I don't want the gloves all messy, but they do help if working on something hot.
I've tried wearing latex gloves but most chemicals and any sharp edges just ruin them too quick for my cheap ass.

I have the mechanix gloves and also the latex ones. The mechanics ones work good around the hot headers. I work on a computer all day and at least try to keep my nails clean when I have to work on my car. Plus it helps limit the number of scars from slipping gasket scrapers, and cuts from hose clamps

. My dad uses those at work also.
