1777 lbs...your car litterally fuckin weighs half as much as mine...do an engine swap to an engine that actually makes power instead!!!

I dont doubt it, if its that light you dont need nearly as much power to make it move, but my suggestion is if you want to go even faster, then get more power instead. Want to keep it as daily drivable as possible...right?

My old crx (90 hf) tipped the scales at 1935 w/ me in the car( i weighd 295 at the time) at a local weigh station here in plant city...but here is what my interior looked like. This is basicicly what it looked like , except i had a guage cluster and a dash shell**.

**- dash shell , as in no nothing...jstu looked like a dash.

i basicly gutted the entire car , put 2 seats in it , front carpet and a steering wheel.

This car was Extremely unsafe, it hauled ass but unsafe.

edit: car still retained bumper supports though

disclaimer: this car was not daily driven.

also...

Traction is going to be a major issue, IT is a FWD there fore it gets shitty traction , i was on 22x8 M/T slicks and the best i could get was 1.8 60ft's. Motor was a N/A b20z, suspension setup consisted of , skunk2 drag launch springs in the back , skunk2 C/O's up front, takico blues all the way around.

Good luck with your project.

Also , my new setup is going to retain all the interior....I see no point in the weight reduction thing , unless the vehivcle is strictly for drag, or a weekend warrior.
