Thanks for the responces! All I ask of from the interior is to NOT get me wet and remain comfortable. Overnight I just threw on some towels on teh seats with a big fan blowing

Thats exactly what I was thinking...."oh yeah...fuck...hurricane coming..."

Most of the leaking stuff just started/recently started. With over $3000 of upgrades on the car it was a steal. Having a project car for a DD sucks and always will, but never will I second guess buying this car. As always, its maintained some basic things that I wanted it to: be "fast", safe, and reliable. The latter one is becoming fuzzy, but at least I still get pretty good mpgs FWIW

Jordan, no way man lol thats too much. I may be able to live with it instead, I'm sure I'll be fine.

Let it run like that for like 20 minutes.
No heater core = coolant system leak and also no heat. A/C doesnt blow well either
Oh yeah, I think my turbo seals finally went out. White smoke at idle ≠ coolant = wheeeee!

Pull the interior out. If the padding is wet it will never completely dry and will start smelling like a gym locker room if you don't. You can also wait for a clear sunny day and pressure wash everything, especially the carpet, just be sure to let it dry completely before putting it back in.

An easy way ive always delt with not having a back window in my truck, take all the interior out, but waterproof seats and the non-working dash. drill some strategically placed drainage holes and dont worry about it. I have about 3 inches of water in there now, but when it stops raining it will be gone. Problems solved.

damn orion ur an idiot, that interior on that car was in decent shape, I was going to swap it in mine.... but thank you for decreasing the value of mkiii's... well hopefully you'll just increase the value of the ones that are still decent. I think a MAF is the last thing you need to worry about when u have crucial leaks, and symptoms of a BHG. forget an FMIC, injectors, and whatever. Fix the stuff that is critical to running/functioning normally and then mod it.

But do what u want.
