Filing a lawsuit against the weather? ummm okie??? Insurance will take care of the damages. It's possible for usage of the tracks but not the seatings or box office.

I don't know if I exactly agree w/ Oh well attitude. The sport has evolved and so much talent has come and gone. I love looking back at memororabilia of the past drivers and events. The sport wouldn't be where it is now w/ out those good old days. There will always be room for the new talent but I just don't think it should be "who cares about what was lost", you can't replace certain things.

This is the first I had seen of it also. Come to think of it I guess Daytona has weathered well w/ the hurricanes we have pass through here. I wonder if Atlanta will rebuild bigger or expand? I have never been to Atlanta only Daytona and Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte.

I agree, history should never be forgotten. Basically im saying move on, deal with today, tomorrow, not what happened decades ago. Dont sit there and whine about it and do nothing. Move on in life. Im not trying to be a dick about it.
