Need some headlight help...
Hey all, perhaps some of you have had this same issue I'm having -
The florida sun has caused my headlights to crack/spiderweb, and generally just look nasty as hell. Is there a technique that anyone has mastered to resolve this issue. It happened on my old car too, and someone told me about a complex process involving 400 grit sandpaper and such... any help?

are they plastic? assuming they are, a good plastic cleaner and then polish such as Meguiars PlastX will make a world of difference. Its going to take some elbow grease but should turn out pretty good as long as they arent too far gone. Also after you get them that way, try and track down some of that 3M clear film that they put on headlights and get some for your car, that should also help keep them looking new.
hope that helps
hope that helps
take it to a decal shop i know it sounds weird but they have this stuff for head lights made by black n decker and they spary this solvent on it and scrub it with sand paper take it there im not sure if every decal shop does it but i know a guy in port richey thats at the flea market entrance that does decals he will do all lights on car for 35$or front head lights for 15$
man hit it with some light wet sand paper maybe like a 800 and up dont go to heavy , make sure it wet sand paper , then get some rubbing compound and hit with a buffer, dont burn the bish......sometimes its just to bad and you maybe out of luck.......
